Head of Sport Jochen Schneider and Head Coach Sandro Schwarz Out at Red Bull
After the New York Red Bulls missed the MLS Playoffs for the first time in 15 seasons, the club announced major organizational changes. Julian de Guzman is the new Head of Sport, part of a "long-term succession plan" following Jochen Schneider's departure to return to family in Europe.
Additionally, Head Coach Sandro Schwarz will not return for the 2026 season, despite leading the team to an MLS Cup Final appearance in 2024. A search for a new coach is underway.
