Germán Berterame Is Bringing More Than Goals to Inter Miami. He Is Bringing a Winner’s Mentality.

In football, talent can change a game, but mentality can define a championship.

That is the message behind Germán Berterame’s approach to the playoffs. For the Inter Miami forward, regular season standings and past results become secondary when the postseason begins. What matters is the mentality inside the locker room and the willingness to compete when everything is on the line.

Berterame understands what it takes to win. As a player who has experienced the pressure of major competitions and the demands of championship football, he knows that playoff soccer is a different challenge.

His message is clear: Inter Miami is a team built to compete, and the objective is not simply to participate in the playoffs. It is to win.

That mentality is particularly important for a squad filled with players who have experienced the highest levels of international football. Their experience, leadership and winning habits can influence an entire locker room, especially when the pressure increases.

The playoffs do not reward reputations or regular season statistics. They reward execution, resilience and the ability to deliver when there is no tomorrow.

For Berterame, the message is simple: it does not matter where you finished in the standings. When the playoffs arrive, everyone starts with the same objective.

And Inter Miami intends to make its championship ambitions count.
