Orlando City was without Rodrigo Schlegel and Cesar Araujo, both were sent off in the last match against Austin FC, and Facundo Torres, who had played a great match against Inter Miami CF in the U.S. Open Cup, was not in the starting 11 but he was on the bench.
Head Coach Oscar Pareja made a surprise by starting Kyle Smith as a center-back and leaving young talent Thomas Williams on the bench.
New signing Jake Mulraney replaced Facundo Torres, who had a good game, looking for the one-on-one, making great plays, and going down to retrieve the ball.
Orlando, faithful to its style of play, looked for the flanks with Ruan and Urso on the right and Moutinho and Mulraney on the left, where they always rely on captain Mauricio Pereyra.

29' Again PULPO comes out of the box to intercept a pass from Paul Arriola to MLS striker Jesus Ferreira.
Mulraney was constantly fouled and it's because the FC Dallas team didn't expect a winger as dangerous as him.
Near the end of the first half, a great shot by Mauricio Pereyra ended in a corner kick.
