USWNT wins their 600th match.

JULY 29, 2025 (CINCINNATI, OH) - Rose Lavelle's home city plays host to the Republic of Ireland in the last USWNT match of June.

The USWNT opened their scoring in the 11th minute of the match. Emma Sears down the right plays an inch perfect cross from the edge of the 18 yard box and the captain volleys it into the back of the net for the hosts. The opener marked Biyendolo's 25th goal for the USWNT.

Emma Sears' shot in the 42nd minute was blocked by Brosnan, but debutant Izzy Rodriguez was the first to react and scored to double the USA lead. Rodriguez and Sears are both Ohio State Women's Soccer alumni, both key contributors on the second goal. USA went into the halftime interval up, 2-0.

In the second half, Olivia Moultrie set up Yazmeen Ryan inside the box for the third USA goal of the match. The 19 year old joined an exclusive list of players 18 or younger to score multiple goals in a single match for the USWNT in 2024, joining Mia Hamm and Parlow Cone.

Angel city forward Alyssa Thompson made it 4-0 in the 86th minute, when she converted on an inch-perfect through ball from Claire Hutton.

"We want Rose" chants erupted at TQL Stadium in the 73rd minute of the match. Emma Hayes hastily sent Lavelle from the bench to the touchline to warm up, promptly subbing her into the match in the 87th minute. The hometown favorite was met with a very loud and welcoming reception from the Cincinnati crowd.

Scoring Summary:

11' GOAL, USWNT - Lynn Biyendolo (Assist: Emma Sears)

Lynn Biyendolo now has 4 goals in 4 appearances in Cincinnati (OptaJack). When asked about this, she was surprised: "Oh my god! What? I didn't even know that! So, that's a fun fact. Well, I love it here. I love the atmosphere. We love giving Rose [Lavelle] a hard time because she loves it here so much. I just love playing in general, so anytime I can score... that's like such a fun fact, I don't even know what to say.

I just love it here. I think the crowd is amazing, the fans are amazing. You can tell when they're all chanting for Rose. I think that it's really cool when we have a native player on the team, and you always want them to succeed - and I think when you're on a team, you want everybody to succeed, so being able to say, "Okay, we're going to do this for Rose, but we're also doing this for ourselves" was really cool."
