FC Dallas Defeat LAFC 1-0 Behind Osaze Urhoghide Header

FC Dallas earned a 1-0 victory over Los Angeles Football Club, with Osaze Urhoghide scoring the decisive goal in the first half and the Dallas defense holding on through a tense finish.
FC Dallas secured all three points with a 1-0 win over LAFC after a tightly contested match that was ultimately decided by a set piece in the 34th minute.
Dallas created the first dangerous opportunities, with Hugo Lloris saving an early effort from Logan Farrington in the eighth minute. LAFC responded with chances of its own, including an effort from Armindo Sieb that was saved by Jonathan Sirois.
Urhoghide Breaks the Deadlock
The breakthrough came in the 34th minute.
After a corner from Joaquín Valiente, Osaze Urhoghide rose inside the box and headed the ball into the top-right corner, giving FC Dallas a 1-0 lead.
LAFC pushed for an equalizer before halftime. The visitors created a dangerous sequence in the 45th minute and stoppage time, but Dallas managed to block one effort and saw another header from Nkosi Tafari go wide.

LAFC Pushes, But Dallas Holds
LAFC increased the pressure after the restart. Jeremy Ebobisse forced Jonathan Sirois into a save in the 49th minute, while Tyler Boyd had an effort blocked shortly afterward.
Dallas continued to threaten on the counter, with Santiago Moreno and Christian Cappis both sending second-half attempts wide. Shaq Moore also had a late effort saved by Lloris in the 89th minute.
The final minutes became increasingly tense. LAFC continued searching for an equalizer, while Dallas defended its narrow advantage.
In the 90th minute, Sergi Palencia came close for LAFC, but his effort from the center of the box was saved by Jonathan Sirois.
Dallas survived three minutes of stoppage time to secure the 1-0 victory.
