Late Goal Gives Austin FC a One-Goal Victory

The last game of the week took place in Q2 Stadium between Austin FC; looking to secure a spot in the playoffs, and Los Angeles Football Club; who played without its two best players due to National Team duty seeking for a first place at the same Wesgetn Conference.
Nico EstƩvez had Brad Stuver in goal; Brendan Hensley, Guillermo Biro, and Martha Djordjevic on defense; Mikael Desker, Dani Pereira and captain and former LAFC player Ilie Sanchez; and CJ Fodrey, Jon Gallagher and Owen Wolff in offense.
Once again without the absences of its best players in offense, LAFC had Hugo Lloris in goal; Ryan Porteous and Nkosi Tafari as central defenders; Sergi Palencia and Rayan Hollingshead on the wings; Eddie Segura, Mark Delgado, Timothy Tillman and Jailson in the middle; and Andrew Moran and Jeremy Ebobisse in the offense
Both teams have less than five goal opportunities: LAFC clearest attempts were a long-distance shot my Andrew Moran, a clear chance in front of the net by Jeremy Ebobisse, and a spectacular ball recovery, and box-to-box run by Nkosi Tafari.

Thus, Austin FC defeated the Californian team 1-0z. This result places Austin at the sixth place and LAFC at the third spot battling the second place with Minnesota and San Diego.
