ORLANDO CITY STUNS MINNESOTA WITH LATE DRAMA: SPICER RESCUES A POINT IN A 3–3 THRILLER

Orlando City and Minnesota United played out a wild 3–3 draw in a match that changed direction several times and produced a dramatic finish.

Orlando appeared to be on course for a valuable road victory after building a two-goal lead, but Minnesota United fought back with three goals in the second half. Just when it looked like the Loons had completed the comeback, Tyrese Spicer delivered for Orlando in stoppage time to rescue a point.

Dike Gives Orlando the Lead

Minnesota started with the greater attacking pressure, but Orlando found the breakthrough in the 28th minute.

Daryl Dike finished from inside the box with a right-footed shot to put Orlando ahead 1–0. The goal gave Orlando confidence, while goalkeeper Maxime Crépeau was called into action several times to protect the advantage.

Minnesota created opportunities through Anthony Markanich, Jefferson Díaz and Joaquín Pereyra, but Crépeau kept the hosts from finding an equalizer before halftime.

Orlando entered the break with a narrow 1–0 lead.

Griezmann Doubles the Advantage

Orlando came out of halftime looking to extend its lead, and the visitors did exactly that.

In the 64th minute, Antoine Griezmann found the back of the net with a left-footed finish from inside the box following a pass from Justin Ellis.

With Orlando leading 2–0, the match appeared to be under control.

But Minnesota had other plans.

Minnesota Turns the Match Around

The comeback began in the 71st minute.

Marcus Caldeira pulled one back for Minnesota with a close-range finish after receiving a pass from Kelvin Yeboah. Three minutes later, the momentum shifted completely when Anthony Markanich headed home a cross from Joaquín Pereyra.

Suddenly, the match was level at 2–2.

Minnesota continued pushing forward, and in the 75th minute the comeback was completed.

Kelvin Yeboah finished from inside the box to give Minnesota a 3–2 lead, turning a two-goal deficit into a one-goal advantage in just four minutes.

Spicer Delivers the Late Rescue

Orlando refused to surrender.

With the match entering stoppage time, the visitors pushed forward in search of an equalizer. The breakthrough finally came in the 93rd minute.

Tyrese Spicer received the ball from Antoine Griezmann, with Iván Angulo providing the second assist, before calmly finishing from the left side of the box.

3–3.

The late goal stunned Minnesota and gave Orlando a dramatic point on the road.

Minnesota still had chances to win it in the final minutes. Carlos Harvey headed over in the eighth minute of stoppage time, but Orlando survived the late pressure.

A Six-Goal Battle

The final whistle confirmed one of the most entertaining matches of the night in MLS.

Orlando will leave Minnesota disappointed not to take all three points after leading 2–0, but Spicer's late equalizer prevented a complete collapse.

For Minnesota, the comeback was impressive, but conceding in stoppage time cost the Loons a victory that had seemed within reach.

Six goals, two comebacks and a finish that kept everyone watching until the final whistle. MLS at its most unpredictable.
