Inter Miami Finish Strong in Dominant Win Over New York City FC

Inter Miami closed out the match in emphatic fashion, securing a convincing 5–1 victory over New York City FC after a commanding second half filled with goals, intensity and control. The performance was highlighted by a standout showing from Tadeo Allende, who delivered a hat-trick and set the tone early.

Miami opened the scoring in the 14th minute when Allende finished with a precise right-footed strike into the middle right corner. Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets combined to help set up Allende’s second of the night in the 23rd minute, this time with a powerful header that doubled Miami’s lead. New York City responded in the 37th minute as Justin Haak rose above the defense to head home a cross from Maxi Moralez, cutting the deficit to 2–1 at halftime.

The second half belonged to Miami. Mateo Silvetti extended the lead in the 67th minute, finishing a well-worked play created by Lionel Messi and Jordi Alba to make it 3–1. Minutes later, Telasco Segovia added Miami’s fourth goal in the 83rd minute with a composed right-footed finish from the center of the box after a clever assist from Alba.

The final blow came in the 89th minute, when Allende completed his exceptional night. Assisted by Yannick Bright, he struck a clean right-footed shot into the lower right corner, giving Miami their fifth and sealing the 5–1 scoreline.

The closing minutes saw a flurry of fouls, cards and defensive pressure from both sides, but Miami remained in control until the final whistle. With strong performances from Messi, Alba, and the ever-dangerous Allende, Inter Miami delivered one of their most convincing wins of the campaign.
