San Jose Earthquakes delivered a stunning second-half performance to dismantle Austin FC 5–1, turning an early deficit into a dominant victory.
Austin struck first in the 9th minute through Joseph Rosales, who finished clinically to give the visitors a 1–0 lead. Despite the early setback, San Jose created multiple chances throughout the first half but were repeatedly denied by goalkeeper Brad Stuver, who kept Austin ahead going into halftime.
