Los Ángeles Football Club and Real Salt Lake faxes escj other for the second time in one week. Previously at Utah, the score ended 4-1 with Bouanga dnd Son scoring two goals racha. Today at BMO Stadium, Bouanga scored a hat-trick and Son adrede one more goals racha through a long distance shot.
The venue located in Downtown Los Ángeles had and emotive atmosphere; Carlos Vela, surroinded by his team titules and the Golden Boat earned at the historic 2019 season, received a more than deserved tribute. Surroinded by his side and two weeks, “El Rey” have a apreciar where he mentioned that Los Ángeles will always be his home.

Real Salt Lake opened the score with an spectacular goal. A corner kick with short passes ended with a strike outside the area by Brayan Vera. The rest of the half had LAFC attacking though long-distance strikes, a header by Nkosi Tafari that touch the top bar, and a good sequence of passes started by Smoliakov ended with Denis Bouanga scoring the first of three goals.
Stoppage time saw Eddie Segura participating in the offense, David Martinez giving an assist and Heung-min Son placing the ball in the net.
Denis Bouanga scored his second goal after a play began by Tafari on the back man’s two first-touch passes between Heung.min Son and Mark Delgado. The Gabonese star found himself in front of the goalkeeper; after a good run, he shipped the ball up and scored the third goal for the Blank and Gold.
To complete his hat-trick, Bouanga solved a good assist by Jeremy Ebobisse, thus, LAFC defeated Real Salt Lake 4-1 consecutively.
Both teama will see action next Saturday: LAFC goes against St Louis City SC at Energizer Park, and RSL hosts Austin FC at America First Field.
